Don't miss the really good roast. Locals rave about it, and it's a perfect way to experience community flavors.

Well-appointed, high standard units provided with first rate shower and a spacious bathroom. Particularly good and magnificent location in Shireshead, close enough to the lake district and yorkshire dales, Lancashire and the Forest of Bowland-close to Lancaster. Also, surprised to learn the renovations had been done a number of years before as everything was pristine.

The room I got was nicely decorated with tea/coffee and huge bath & first rate shower, for example...
Unfortunately Wi-Fi signal was not very good.

The cozy and inviting bar area was a good escape.
The bed in Double Room 4 was uncomfortably small. The walk-in shower flooded the bathroom, turning a simple shower into a messy ordeal. I even had to roll up a towel as a makeshift dam, which only partially helped. As a couple, we expected a more comfortable experience that matched the hotel's positive reputation.

The vibrant atmosphere here is good, with friendly staff enhancing the overall experience. Special mention goes to the well-presented evening meals, made dining enjoyable. The breakfast selections were limited, and my request for condiments was overlooked, surprising for a place that has shown potential. The room's desk was slightly cramped for work.
